Our large Rheumatology department is well known for its friendliness and team-working. The consultants and excellent Nurse and AHP teams provide for Derby, East Staffordshire and the surrounding areas. Provision of cover for your consultant colleagues during reasonable periods of leave, including care of patients & supervision of junior doctors. (A minimum of 6 weeks notice is to be given for all leave requests).

Any responsibility which relates to a special interest.

Responsibility for the professional supervision & management of junior medical staff, carrying out teaching, examination & accreditation duties as required & for contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate & continuing medical education activity, locally & nationally as appropriate.
