Are you interested in joining our team as a Domestic Cleaning Assistant? If so, we have 2 vacancies at Ilkeston Community Hospital and we would like to hear from you.
Working hours for each vacancy are as follows:
1 vacancy working 15 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday, 5.30m - 8.30am.
1 vacancy working on a rota basis, working on a 7 day rolling rota to include weekends and bank holidays.

As a Domestic Cleaning Assistant, you will become an active, valued, member of our team.
You should be an enthusiastic team member who is keen to learn and although previous experience is desirable, it is not essential as full training is provided.

Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality domestic cleaning service.
Working either individually or as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors following agreed work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with the National Standards of Cleanliness.
The post holder will be required to have a flexible approach and be prepared to work on other sites should service demands dictate.
To play an integral part in delivering outstanding patient care at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS).

Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
