General Respiratory Support Nurse based within the Chest clinic supporting specialist nurses and consultants in doing independent clinics and in a supportive role .
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***

APTITUDE & ABILITIES
Essential criteria
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to manage own caseload
- Organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Ability / demonstrable experience of directing and instructing others
- Teaching and mentoring skills.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse training
Desirable criteria
- Other respiratory qualification
- Completed Preceptorship
- Demonstrable experience of acute hospital setting
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential criteria
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Diploma qualification in a healthcare related subject or equivalent demonstrable experience
Desirable criteria
- Spirometry training or course in progress
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
