We are looking to appoint a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHP) to work in a team of ten Gastroenterologists and eight Hepatologists. The role will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care. Applicants with an interest in any gastro sub-speciality are encouraged to apply.

Person specification
Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- MRCP (UK) or equivalent
- On GMC specialist register for gastroenterology
Desirable criteria
- Higher degree.
- Evidence of sub-specialty or other specific training
Skils & Experience
Essential criteria
- Independent management of patients with complex gastroenterology disease
Desirable criteria
- Able to develop a sub-specialty area of expertise within gastro or endoscopy
- Skilled endoscopist, competent at therapeutic upper GI endoscopy including the management of complex GI bleeding.
- Competent at ERCP LGI endoscopy
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
