The medical education team is responsible for the provision of post graduate education within UHP and a focal point for multi professional education. We have an exiting opportunity to join our team to continue developing our support to Locally Employed Doctors, Physician Associates and International Medical Graduates.
The Postgraduate Medical Centre (PGMC) consists of a team who support the provision of training and education for approximately 800 resident medical staff and a focal point for multi-professional education.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification***
Main duties of the job
- To facilitate/coordinate the support and engagement of Locally Employed Doctors at UHP.
- To provide administrative, pastoral, corporate and educational support for the Physician’s Associate programme.
- To help facilitate/coordinate the support and engagement of International Medical Graduate (IMGs) doctors.
- To support other non-training grade doctors and/or health care professionals at UHP where required.
- To support the development of programmes of work within postgraduate medical education.
- To assist in the design, development and delivery of educational programmes/packages for the aforementioned groups as well as the relevant local and national experts/stakeholders.

Essential criteria
- • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative/coordination role • Demonstrable experience of project coordination • Demonstrable experience of information systems • Demonstrable experience of fast-moving and demanding environments • Demonstrable experience of developing good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external to the working environment • Demonstrable experience of handling confidential information • Demonstrable experience of social media and communications within a professional setting • Demonstrable experience of procurement

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- • NVQ 4 Business Administration or demonstrable equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- • Foundation level degree (or equivalent qualification) in business administration/project management
