Job overview
As Support Analyst you will be a part of the SystmOne team, delivering the day-to-day support of the SystmOne system (the electronic care record for Community services and Acute and Community Maternity services) ensuring business continuity and data quality, as well as providing administrative and user support serving as a main point of contact for user queries via the service desk and other contact methods.
You will be working as part of an expansive service driven organisation, maintaining services, and assisting users to support both frontline and back-office staff in delivering patient care within the NHS.
You will be collaborating as part of a diverse and multi-skilled team, working together towards common goals and objectives.
Main duties of the job
Monitoring of systems and services, performing routine checks and maintenance to ensure business continuity, and escalating issues to other team members as and when required.
To providing administrative and user support for the SystmOne team, serving as a main point of contact for user queries via the service desk and other contact methods.
Providing first line fixes for support incidents based on standard operating procedures, and triage of more complex issues.
Provide administrative support to the wider team to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
Managing system access to support clinical workflow, and to maintain system security.
Identification of QI opportunities and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS’s)

Communication & Relationship Skills
Essential criteria
- Good verbal and writing skills for effective communication.
- Good interpersonal and team working skills
Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential criteria
- Minimum NVQ2 in Administration or equivalent
- GCSE or equivalent grade C in Maths and English
- Good level of computer literacy and competence.
- Confident with use of Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with a previous administrational role.
Desirable criteria
- NVQ3 or equivalent
- Knowledge of health and care service systems and processes.
- Experience of using SystmOne software
Analytical & Judgemental Skills

- Ability to adapt to new working practices.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Desirable criteria
- Experience in an administrational role within a health and care service setting.

- Ability to Input large quantities of complex data/information into databases/systems and manipulate for analytics or reporting.

- Requirement to travel to other locations for meetings and provide support for users
- Ability to work flexibly, outside of normal working hours as required
