Job overview
A unique opportunity has arisen to be part of an excellent team within the Coronary Care Unit to cover 12 months maternity leave. The Coronary Care Unit consists of fifteen beds and provides specialist care for patients with acute cardiac conditions, including myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
The post holder will have post registration nursing experience and demonstrate high standards of patient care, clinical expertise within a clinical environment and cardiology experience is desirable but not essential.

- Basic IT skills
- Demonstrable ability with vital signs monitoring equipment and ability to recognise the deteriorating patient
- Oral and IV medication administration including administration of blood products
- Calculation of drug doses for infusions

- Ability to demonstrate fundamental nusing knowledge and practice skills
