CONSULTANT IN CLINICAL RADIOLOGY 2 POSTS (University Hospitals Dorset)
THE POSTS
These posts are for substantive Consultants in Clinical Radiology with an interest in Head and Neck and Neuroradiology. This post will support the delivery of high quality care along the entire diagnostic imaging pathway at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital.
Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch hospitals recently merged to form the University Hospitals Dorset (UHD). This provides an exciting backdrop of change and the chance to help develop innovative services and new pathways.
The post holder should be an enthusiastic, effective team player with a flexible approach who can embrace new ways of working and would be expected to take an active role in the development of Diagnostic imaging services at UHD. The trust is committed to a joint selection and recruitment process to help further the experience of patients within East Dorset.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- FRCR or equivalent
- Full registration with GMC and license to practice.
- Entry on the GMS specialist register via CCST, CESR or European Community. Pre-CCST candidates will be considered if eligible for interview 6 months prior to CCST date (at date of interview)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Broad experience of all aspects of acute Radiology.
- Subspecialty training in head and neck and neuroradiology.
- Participation in subspecialty cancer MDTs and imaging meeting relevant to this role.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
