An exciting opportunity has arisen working as an administrative assistant with the Tissue Viability Team within Dorset Healthcare.  This is a 1 year post covering maternity leave.  It will be working alongside Tissue Viability Specialist Nurses to provide office management, administrative and secretarial support to the Tissue Viability Service to enable effective delivery of the Service.

Previous experience of working in an NHS setting will be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only.  Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

To ensure the provision of effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support including dealing with telephone/teams enquiries internally and with other agencies; maintaining good communications between staff members of the Trust, using own initiative and managing own workload.  Taking referrals into the service and actioning these on SystmOne.

To take minutes of meetings, typing and distribution of minutes and supporting papers following the appropriate training if required.

To have access to team diaries, plan and organise activities and events including meetings with internal and external organisations as requested.

To maintain the effective distribution of incoming and outgoing electronic mail.

To format reports as required ensuring protocols for layout and standard trust formatting are followed.
