An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant - Reporting to join our finance team at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
Working with the Head of Financial Management, the Financial Accountant – Reporting will lead the Central Financial Management function in the production of monthly financial information, reporting to various internal and external stakeholders. The Financial Accountant – Reporting will be responsible for the development of the Central Financial Management function, including support and development to the team and ensuring that systems and processes allow timely and accurate response to the Trusts reporting needs.
This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a variety of colleagues across the Finance Department including Head of Corporate Finance, Finance Business Partners and Head of Accounting & Governance.

- Fully qualified CCAB with proven post qualification experience or equivalent extensive experience, operating at a senior level within a complex organisation. (Masters level equivalent)
- Evidence of CPD
- Higher education to degree level
Experience

- Highly developed specialist knowledge and experience in Finance, financial accounting or financial planning
- Able to explain complex information in a clear and understandable way to non-finance managers and staff
- Computerised Financial and Management Accounting Systems.
- Experience of line management

- Previous NHS Experience
Knowledge

- Computerised financial accounting Systems and transactional services systems.
- In depth knowledge of government policy for NHS financial regime
Skills

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage a challenging and diverse workload
- High level of numeracy skills and ability to understand, interpret and explain highly complex financial information across the Trust and health economy.
- Excellent IT skills including ability to maximise benefits from Trust IT systems.
