Job overview
We are looking to recruit a full time Clinical Team Administrator /Receptionist to join Foxrush House, Adult Community Mental Health Team, on a permanent basis.
Main duties of the job
The Reception is a dynamic work environment and as a Clinical Team Administrator / Receptionist you will have multiple responsibilities including greeting service users on arrival, managing phone calls, managing records, building and ordering responsibilities, as well as utilising electronic systems. You must be calm, reassuring and always treat people with respect, dignity and kindness in this varied environment and display impeccable customer service skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive service. Previous Reception / Clerical experience and customer service is essential
- Candidates should have experience of Microsoft Office software packages.
- ITQ Level 2 or equivalent or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale
- Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale.

Deal with telephone enquires.
Greet service users, families and carers
Deal with enquires for the clinical team
Undertake general office duties
Maintain a room booking system
Manage clinic bookings
Provide typing support
Organise own work on a day to day basis

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- ITQ Level 2 or equivalent or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale
- Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale
Desirable criteria
- Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience working in an administrative role in an office environment.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in an administrative role for a clinical team
Skills Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understanding of confidentiality and the associated legal and policy requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Demonstrates good organisational and time management skills including ability to prioritise effectively
Desirable criteria
- Copy type accurately at a minimum speed of 35wpm.
