Health Care Assistant - Multiple roles in various departments available

At North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, we are on a continuous journey seeking motivated  Clinical Support Worker to join our teams at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

It is an essential requirement that you have NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent to apply for this role.  Your application will not be considered without this. 

We have exciting opportunities for Clinical Support Worker across our organisation. The successful candidates will work as part of the Care Group within the Multi Disciplinary Team. The role will involve full day and night rotation.

To provide support to the multi professional team by undertaking appropriate duties following assessment and planning of requirements by a registered nurse. Additionally to provide support by undertaking non nursing and ancillary duties.

   To promote and deliver patient centred care aligned with the Trust vision and Nursing  and Midwifery strategy.

    To provide the highest standard of safe, effective and compassionate care through the effective use of evidence based practice 

    To support a continuously improving service, in line with the clinical governance framework, Trust objectives, and the NHS performance framework.  

    To continually develop professionally to ensure the post holder has the appropriate level of skill, knowledge and competence to meet service/specialty requirements.  

    To help maintain a clean and safe department. 

     The overall purpose of the post holder will be to provide support to the nursing team

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Level 3 vocational qualification in appropriate subject (or on pathway) or equivalent qualification/experience
  • literacy and numeracy skills to level 2 or above in English and maths or above
Desirable criteria
  • Care Certificate

  • Recent relevant experience in health care

  • Ability to assess, plan deliver and evaluate quality care
