Could you be the first voice a patient hears?

Our CSIMS (Coastal Sussex Integrated Musculoskeletal Service) admin  team are looking for brilliant administrators who can ensure good care happens for our patients. Our administrators are an invaluable part of the service.

The service helps people who are experiencing MSK (aka musculoskeletal, muscle and bone) conditions, stewarding patients through options for their appointments. 

We want to make a person’s care as straightforward as possible, by providing one point of contact as close to their home as we can.

We currently have 1 fixed term until the 31st March 2025, Full time (37.5 hours per week). The standard working week as 0800-1600 / 0830-1630 or 0900-1700, Monday-Friday.

Main duties of the Job

  • Our administrators are generally the first point of contact for our patients. This means they handle patient data every single day and work within small teams, making sure the people we see experience seamless care.
  • Communication is a key part of this telephone-based role, working  to get patients to the most appropriate services for their needs accurately and on time.
  • The role would be working from our central hub at Bognor hospital.

  • To Provide an efficient and effective administrative support to the CSIMS services.
  • Office administration, assisting with documentation and ensuring all clerical aspects of the service run smoothly.
  • The successful candidate will have good time management, the ability to use their own initiative as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • The successful candidate will be a proactive individual with good organisation skills, excellent attention to detail, a team player with the ability to problem solve and work independently.
  • Essential to the role is proficiency or ability to learn a variety of IT applications.
  • Excellent use of English language is also required.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels are required for liaising with colleagues, clinicians, IT support.
