As a university trust and a leader in healthcare research, we value learning, teaching and training so that we can be the best that we can be. From the moment you start with us and throughout your career we will help you to grow and develop. We hope that in choosing UHSussex you are choosing a long and happy career where you will be able to see the difference you make and feel valued for all that you do.

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hybrid Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Immunotherapy and Acute Oncology team at University hospital Sussex. This role is based at Brighton and Princess Royal but may be required to travel between our other network hospital sites. This role is 50% clinical, 50% non-clinical role. The clinical role will aim to help improve efficiency in the admission pathways by developing new pathways with the same day emergency care (SDEC) teams to reduce/prevent patients attending the emergency department. To develop ambulatory pathways for patients exhibiting toxicities on immunotherapy to prevent admission to hospital. The 50% non-clinical side will include service development, research and audit and line management of the acute oncology CNS team.
