An ability to develop strong working relationships with education staff is essential. You will also be required to liaise closely with parents and other health professionals to ensure strategies and approaches can be embedded both at home and in school. Within the educational settings, you will have a key role in developing staff skills to promote suitably adapted learning and communication environments.
International applicants must demonstrate that they are at International English Language Testing System ( IELTS) level 8.
A robust relocation package is available subject to certain criteria. Please contact us for details.
Please do get in touch to discuss this opportunity. We are happy to consider annualised hours contracts and flexible working requests as long as these enable delivery of the most appropriate service to the children, young people and families that we serve.
Working for our organisation
All members of the team receive structured support and supervision from the clinical leads for the relevant clinical areas. You will also be required to join a clinical supervision group which may be within or across clinical areas. Over and above that, you will benefit from the readiness of all team members, managers and administrative staff to provide support on a day to day basis.
If successful, you would receive an induction with opportunities for shadowing other team members. We have regular team meetings and clinical forums. We offer in-house training in a range of specialist areas and benefit from access to Trust funding for external courses when appropriate. We also have equipment budgets which enable the service to continually improve resources for assessment and therapy.
