Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a part time Receptionist to be based at Conquest  Hospital.

You will be part of a team of Receptionists responsible for welcoming outpatients to the hospital, recording all attendance information and making follow ups where appropriate in line with the Referral to Treatment: Access and Management Policy and Organisation Objectives.

Main duties of the job

You will need to deal with challenges, perform under pressure and be able to prioritise work, computer literate & flexible. Good customer Service is essential.  

The hours of service are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 08:30 - 17:00  and Tuesday 8:30 - 14:00

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Ability to undertake additional training on departmental IT and manual systems
  • Computer literate

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous clerical work is essential, either voluntary or paid
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of substantial clerical experience, especially in relation to filing systems
  • Experience and understanding of an Oasis system
