Are you a Physiotherapist or Osteopath looking for a new opportunity?

We are looking for dynamic and proactive Band 5 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Therapists to join our well-established MSK Outpatient teams at Crawley and Horsham Hospitals.

To apply, you must be a UK registered Physiotherapist or Osteopath or be a student with registration pending upon completion of your degree. Recent junior clinical level experience, including musculoskeletal experience, would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job

Applicants should be committed to delivering high quality care and have excellent communications skills. You will be required to work between the clinical sites of Crawley and Horsham Hospitals.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or Osteopathy
  • HCPC registered or GOC registered
Desirable criteria
  • Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy/ Member of Institute of Osteopathy or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Completed a broad range of student placements
  • MSK outpatients at Junior/Student level
Desirable criteria
  • Completed Junior Rotations/ Experience of working in a variety of healthcare setting

Skills and knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Understanding of evidence-based practice
  • Able to demonstrate good communication skills
  • Abled to demonstrate a good level of clinical knowledge and reasoning
  • Good undertsanding of MSK conditions and presentations
  • Broad understanding of the NHS/healthcare community
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of audit/service improvement
  • Evidence of understanding of clinical governance

Other requirements

Essential criteria
  • Ability to work flexibly where and when the service requires
Desirable criteria
  • Basic IT skills
