At Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital we offer outpatients, rehabilitation and intermediate services. At Uckfield Community Hospital we provide day surgery and outpatient care.
In the community, we deliver services that focus on people with long term conditions living well outside hospital, through our integrated locality teams working with district and community nursing teams. Community members of staff also provide care to patients in their homes and from a number of clinics, health centres and GP surgeries.

We are busy Acute Emergency department, treating on average 50,000 patients a year and in order to improve the standards of care and patient experience we are looking to recruit a Clinical Orderly to join and support our pro-active team.
As part of that Nursing team your duties would include general cleaning of the patient bed areas and assisting the nursing staff with essential patient equipment cleaning. All staff within the hospital have a key role to play in infection control and prevention & you could be a part of a team that makes a vital contribution to the patient’s experience during their time in hospital.
