Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our Clinical Administration Service within the CAS team in the Lung Health Check Team.
The NHS Targeted Lung Health Check Programme invites past and current smokers aged between 55 and 74 who live in Hull and the East Riding and are registered with a local GP to a free lung health check, to identify potential lung problems early so effective and early treatment can be provided. As an administrator, you will be required to process referrals, book appointments and cover the reception desk on our mobile unit.
This role has a combination of office work and also reception work on our mobile CT unit. Our mobile unit is currently covering different areas of Hull and areas across the East Riding. Please note you will be required to travel to the site of our Mobile Unit.
Although previous administration experience is desirable, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting, those with a 'can do' attitude and importantly due to the nature of the work people who have a flexible approach to working.
The role is full time at 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, shifts to be arranged by the Senior Administrators in the department , however successful candidate must be available Monday - Saturday when required, to complete Lung Health screening mobile van shifts which are rotated with administrators in the department.
