An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to the role of department Housekeeper/ Hygienist  within this busy outpatient setting. The role is part time 32 hours over 4 days.

The Oncology and Haematology day is a busy environment that requires you in conjunction with the nursing team to ensure that high standards are maintained to deliver a quality service.

A significant aspect of the role is effective stock control. Ensuring that equipment and facilities are maintained as well as managing an effective cleaning and maintenance regime for the medical devices used within the department. Knowledge of working in a care environment would be an advantage but not essential.

Academic qualifications are not essential although you will be required to complete the National Care Certificate, you should possess excellent team working and communication qualities (both written and verbal), IT skills would also be an advantage as most stock ordering is done electronically.

Full training and support will be provided.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
