Job overview

This operational manager will be responsible for the operational duties of the children's Autism and ADHD services.  As required, the post holder will exert necessary influence at both strategic and operational levels. The post holder will work collaboratively with the line manager, clinical leads, and colleagues within primary care, as well as the local authorities and ICBs, to deliver effective and safe multi-disciplinary services in line with the regulatory frameworks of CQC.

The post holder will ensure services delivered are responsive to local and national directives and need, promoting a learning culture that leads to improved service delivery and ongoing evaluation.

 The post holder will be responsible for the implementation of services to meet the commissioned service specifications and the key performance indicators.

Main duties of the job

            Responsible for the development, delivery, monitoring, review and effectiveness of the contacts, service co-ordination and processes involved with the delivery of the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Children’s Neurodiversity Service.

•           Provide strong and effective leadership, management, and support to the core and interdependent neurodiversity service, teams, and staff within the context of the Hull and East Riding Children’s Neurodiversity Service (Autism and ADHD).

•           To work in partnership with key stakeholders of core and interdependent services, including those working within children’s and adult’s health, education, social care and voluntary and community sector services, to ensure needs-led, integrated and co-ordinated approaches that meet the needs of children and , young people with neurodiverse conditions and their families

. To complete on call manager duties as part on call rota.
