Job overview

City Health Dental Services has a great opportunity of a Full time vacancy for a Qualified Dental Nurse 37.5 hours over 5 days per week, shifts will include one Saturday every 6 weeks on rotation. The successful candidate will form part of a well established team within a Busy NHS and Private City Centre practice. all aspects of Chairside Dental assisting will need to be undertaken. 

Main duties of the job

You will be part of a professional and dynamic team offering the very best Patient care. Surgeries have recently been renovated and have a full Digital Xray system. Knowledge of the R4 Dental System is advantageous. GDC registration is required for this post.

Essential criteria
  • NEBDN Qualification
  • Must be registered on the Dental Nurse National Register

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of dental procedures gained through training and experience
  • Knowledge of routine administration procedures, reception duties and cash handling procedures
  • Knowledge of dental software system

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of working in a dental surgery
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of dealing with clients who have physical and/or learning disabilities
