Care Navigator - Administrator

Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable individual as Administrator - Care Navigator to our Patient Administration team based within the busy Accident & Emergency Department at Hull Royal Infirmary.
Your daily duties will include booking-in patient's, creating appointments, answering phone calls and dealing with a diverse range of people along with other general administration duties.
Whilst the role will be based in the Emergency Department, the successful candidate will also work as part of the wider team to ensure the needs of the service are met; this may include providing cover for other departments in times of need. Therefore, you will be expected to have a flexible approach to working and must have the ability to work in a fast paced and highly demanding environment.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
The post is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual's who approach work with a 'can-do' attitude. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be expected to work with a diverse range of people. Good IT skills and attention to detail are also a must; we aim to deliver a high standard of service to our patients and clinical team. the post will be required to learn Lorenzo the I.T systems within the trust.
We are looking for 1 x 24 hour candidate, all set shifts will be on a rolling 4 week rota basis.
shift patterns for the department are: 08.00-14.00, 13.00-19.00, 18.00-24.00 Monday-Sunday.

Week 3: Mondays 13.00- 19.00, Tuesday 13.00- 19.00,wednesday 08.00-14.00 , Friday 13.00-19.00
Week 4: Mondays 13.00- 19.00, Tuesday 18.00-24.00 , Wednesday 13.00-19.00, Saturday 13.00-19.00
all weekend and unsociable hours are paid at an enhanced rate.
Flexibility will be required to cover short notice sickness and annual leave.
