Job overview

Hull and East Riding Routine Triage and Assessment Team are looking to recruit a highly motivated Band 3 Senior Administrator to cover maternity leave.

They will be based at St Andrews Place, St Georges Road, Hull, and will be required to provide administrative support to the clinicians within the team. 

The Senior Administrative role will be vital in ensuring the smooth running of this service. It will include booking appointments, supporting the clinical team, inputting data, diary management, supervision of staff and any other administrative duties and other general office duties.

The Senior Administrator will need to be well organised, be able to set up systems to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively. They must have the ability to follow instructions but also be able to work on their own initiative.

They are required to have Lorenzo experience, Microsoft Excel and possess qualifications/experience in Word processing.

 

Main duties of the job

  • Preparing and editing letters and emails
  • Maintaining the storage of files/folders on servers
  • Accepting referrals on Lorenzo System/ERS
  • Adding to Caseload
  • Diary management
  • General Office Duties
  • Supervision of junior staff.
  • Organising day to day running of the office

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL
  • 2 GCSEs/O level English and Maths
  • A’ Level/BTEC Diploma/NVQ3 Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent experiential learning

Knowledge/Experience

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge and experience of IT systems e.g. Lorenzo, ESR, health roster, oracle,
  • Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work.

Personal Attributes
