An exciting opportunity has arisen in Radiology across Mid and South Essex Hospital Trust for a Radiology Quality & Quality Standards in Imaging Officer

We are looking for an organised individual, dedicated to quality improvement who will support the Radiology team with the requirements to achieve and maintain the quality standards for imaging accreditation.

This successful applicant will be required to work across the Mid and South Essex Trust area but can be predominantly based at any of the 3 sites.

Main duties of the job

  • To attend Maintaining High Standards, produce a summary report and distribute to all radiology team members.
  • To assist the Quality Manager with the work involved to comply with the required actions of MHS, updating the spreadsheet and uploading evidence.
  • To assist with the Tendable audit program, monitoring compliance, training staff, checking actions are completed and running reports.
  • To assist the governance team to develop and manage a non-clinical/local audit programme. To analyse audit outcomes and data capture against defined quality performance indicators and ensure actions are progressed to closure.
  • To monitor compliance of equipment QA and upload results to Q-Pulse.
  • To help develop the service for an improved patient experience through patient surveys/posters/and content on the Trust website.
  • To deputise for the Quality Manager (in their absence) at governance meetings and present the monthly update report.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Demonstrable experience in a administration role within a Quality Governance environment or similar
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Governance, Risk Management and medical terminology
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of clincial apps such as ACP, PACS,Tendable

Experience

Essential criteria
  • NHS Experience and experience of working within a clinical governance related role
  • Experience of report writing and presentation of information
  • Experience using NHS systems including DCIQ or another Datix system
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of using a quality management system
  • Experience of working as part of a team
