Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a band 6 - Interventional radiology nurse.

You will be working as an integral part of the MSE Interventional Radiology team, based at Broomfield Hospital, you will use your existing skills to care for patients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures, whilst scrubbing, circulating, and acting as the patient nurse in our Interventional Radiology Theatre/Suite.  In addition to this, you will also be expected to rotate into the day case recovery unit and offer high standards of care to our patients both pre and post procedure.

Working in an ever-changing environment will require you to use your excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills to the full.  You need to be physically fit to cope with wearing radiation protection equipment and standing for long periods of time, but this rewarding role offers the chance to participate in cutting edge surgical techniques that improve the lives and outcomes of our patients.

Applicants who do not have interventional radiology experience are also welcomed to apply, as we can support you in proving necessary training. You will be hired at band 5 until the training period and later moved to band 6 on successful completion of your training.
