Job overview

East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Centre Administrator.

Working within the multi professional education team, the medical team supports the educational activities of all undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

 We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable and highly motivated individual to join the team to provide reception duties and administrative support.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to support training events and attendees is essential as is the ability to demonstrate open, friendly and approachable behaviour.  

Main duties of the job

Deliver a high quality administrative and reception service, including managing room bookings and assisting with room set up within teaching rooms in accordance with education requirements.

Ensure all speakers and visitors are supported to put on the best events possible that maximises learning opportunities.

Take ownership and management of room bookings for the centres and ensure that all visitors to and contacts of to the centre have a positive experience.

Provide the PGME and UGME team and associated Training Programme Directors with support with administration, invoice processing and record keeping, for the scope of the Medical Education team, as required.

Organise Educational learning events, committees and meetings; ensuring invitations, minutes, supporting papers and agendas are distributed to deadlines, providing administrative support
