Are you an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge? We are looking for administrator to support our Clinical Education Team at the trust.

The Clinical Education team are looking for an experienced administrator to support our clinical teaching and education programmes, as well as administration of student placements . We are an innovative and dynamic team at the forefront of improving care. If you are looking for a challenge in a supportive and friendly team, please apply. 

You will be based at Colchester Hospital (with some remote working)  but there may be an occasional requirement to work across the trust when required. 

We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised individual with high level Word, Excel skills and experience.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines, be flexible and able to work with multiple workstreams.

Main duties of the job

  • Deal with external and internal enquiries and queries from within the Clinical Education Team itself, and other areas within the Trust. This may involve providing complex or sensitive non clinical information to students, staff or education providers
  • Pass on messages as appropriate to the relevant person/team in a prompt and timely way.
  • Use initiative to deal with routine and some non-routine problems that may arise and be aware when to escalate issues to the Lead Co-ordinator, or other Leads/Manager.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining efficient electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and inputting of accurate data on hospital systems.
  • Manage your own workload to ensure completion of the full range of your tasks using the knowledge, skills and experience you have gained and be able to support other team members to undertake the full range of administrative activities when required
