In this exciting role, you will oversee a dedicated, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality mental health care to adults in the Colchester area. As a Clinical Manager, you will be at the heart of a dynamic, high-energy team, working in a fast-paced environment where you will manage multiple responsibilities, from day-to-day team operations to strategic planning and implementation.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Inspire: Provide leadership and support to a talented team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care, professional development, and ongoing engagement within the team.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement service improvement plans, adapting swiftly to meet emerging needs and challenges within the community.
Main duties of the job
- Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations, including caseload management, resource allocation, and service delivery to ensure our clients receive timely, effective, and compassionate care.
- Multifaceted Approach: Take on diverse responsibilities, including safeguarding, risk management, and complex case reviews, all while balancing clinical and operational demands.
- Service Development: Play a key role in identifying areas for growth and improvement, fostering a culture of innovation to enhance patient outcomes and team effectiveness.

Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- - Educated to Degree Level, or, equivalent experience
- Professional qualification in Mental Health or equivalent (e.g. SW, OT, RMN)
Desirable criteria
- - Formal management development, e.g. DMS, CMS, etc
Work Experience and attainments
Essential criteria
- - Extensive and varied clinical management experience in mental health services
- - Evidence of post qualifying continued learning and proven awareness of National developments such as in: Dementia.
Desirable criteria
- - Experience of working at the level of a senior professional practitioner

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
