Following its recent formation the Mid and South Essex Community Collaborative are seeking innovative and committed individuals to join its growing team. This is an exciting time for the NHS across Mid and South Essex as the partnership has been designed to foster collaborative working across community services, primary, acute and social care with the key focus for delivering improved health and care to the communities we serve. Provide CIC, EPUT and NELFT are highly successful and growing organisations in their own right and now seek to strengthen the place community services holds across our system.

The developing Integrated Care System in Mid and South Essex requires a new approach to leadership, which will play a key role in its future success. We now have the opportunity to recruit to three Joint Director for Delivery & Partnerships role’s covering the different geographies across the collaborative. Your strong people skills will enable you to work across organisational boundaries and be a highly influential leader ensuring community, care and mental health services hold their place in the system. You will be a strong decision maker and able to motivate colleagues across multidiscplinary teams to deliver the highest quality services.

Main duties of the job

Managing community health services, through the development of the community collaborative (Provide, EPUT & NELFT), these are joint roles with the partners of the collaborative and it is therefore essential that you can demonstrate an understanding and share the values of the 3 partner organisations.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Relevant clinical or social worker professional qualification at degree level, or relevant and equivalent operational and strategic knowledge of these areas.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • A minimum of three years’ senior operational management experience of community health, mental health and/or social services
  • Measurable success in managing equalities initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and social care policy and Mental Health Legislation.
  • Ability to work in partnership with senior clinicians and other key professionals within and outside the organisation and a partnership approach to work across interagency
