Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of all we do; and it forms part of the ESNEFT’s core activities. The Trust operates and relies on everyone treating each other with dignity and respect, to receive equitable and fair treatment in the implementation of Policies, Procedures and in its Practices, to foster positive work relationships, and finally to act with integrity as a professional within ESNEFT as well as a representative of the NHS as a whole.  The EDI Agenda reflects the Trust values such as Optimistic, Appreciative and Kind. In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, People Plan, People Promise and a Model Employer intrinsic in the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Agenda, we consistently strive to improve, to take the learning into Action for a better ESNEFT.

If you are passionate about patient care and want to develop your skills and knowledge then we are keen to hear from you.

Job overview

The Faculty of Education is dedicated to ensuring our workforce is appropriately skilled, educated and valued, enabling them to deliver exceptional care to patients.

We are committed to supporting our staff throughout their careers, promoting a culture of excellence, and providing the necessary resources to deliver consistent high-quality and safe care across ESNEFT.

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Digital Learning Team as Induction Administrator.

The role will involve providing administrative support for the Trust’s induction programmes for new staff, working closely with the Digital Learning Team and Practice Education Administrators.

The role ensures new starters are booked to attend the appropriate induction, subscribed to the relevant e-learning pathways, and receive the correct information. It also involves attending inductions to welcome new starters, ensure venues are set up and ready, and offer support to facilitators to ensure inductions run smoothly.

You should have previous administrative experience with a good standard of digital skills. You will need to be an excellent communicator, be able to prioritise tasks and be comfortable working both autonomously under direction and in collaborative environments. Attention to detail is extremely important.

  • To attend Trust induction events at Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals (and other venues as required), coordinating timetables and speakers, liaising with facilitators and attendees, and resolving issues to ensure events run smoothly.
  • To communicate with new starters, ensuring they have the required information and are booked onto appropriate induction sessions and training programmes.
  • To keep accurate records and ensure systems are updated.
  • To provide administrative and technical support to the Digital Learning team.

Working for our organisation

We are one of the largest NHS organisations in England, employing more than 12,000 staff.

We pride ourselves on supporting our staff. We offer a wide range of training and development opportunities, as well as flexible working options.

Our philosophy is that Time Matters to everyone. Across the Trust, we concentrate on improving the things we do and removing those which cause time delays for our staff and patients.

We are investing in our commitment to Time Matters with a partnership with leading electronic patient record (EPR) supplier Epic. This digital transformation will bring what’s widely regarded as the world’s best EPR system to ESNEFT, transforming life in hospital for staff and patients.
