Job overview

The Outpatients team are on the lookout for a receptionist to join their dynamic team in an exciting and busy role. This is a great opportunity for those interested in an entry-level administration role;  you will need to be highly motivated, dedicated and passionate about delivering patient-focused customer service, and in return you will be supported in your personal and professional development.

Main duties of the job

You will be the first point of contact for patients and families visiting the Outpatients department. You'll be responsible for booking them into the outpatient clinic, as well as managing all relevant administrative tasks which will support patients through their journey in Outpatients.

Previous administrative or customer service experience is desirable, but not essential. You will however need to be computer-literate and have experience using Microsoft Office packages.
