Our Medical Division encompasses a wide range of specialties, including general medicine, cardiology, respiratory medicine, elderly  and more. The division is supported by a skilled and multidisciplinary team committed to excellence and innovation in patient care.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Division of Medicine, ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Oversee the implementation of the PAHT2030 strategy within the division, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to achieve divisional and organisational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Balance divisional leadership responsibilities with clinical practice in your specialty.

  • Further evidence of management/leadership training and continuous professional development

Experience and knowledge

  • Extensive experience at a senior level in a complex environment, including a sound understanding of the performance and governance requirements
  • Significant track record of achievement as a leader which demonstrates significant successes through innovation and a strong but sensitive style, which contributes directly to the patient experience and continuous improvement
