The Radiology team at Princess Alexandra Hospital is actively looking to recruit a Radiology Assistant to provide a high standard of care to patients, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Radiology department.
It’s an exciting time to join the Radiology Department and you will be actively involved with new developments and innovations within the speciality of Radiology.

The role of Radiology Assistant is centred on providing an excellent level of patient care and organisation during busy scanning lists. You will assist the radiographers, sonographers and consultants during these lists and prioritise the workload of inpatient requests by arranging their appointment slots, organising preparation, and arranging portering services to collect the patients. You will help provide an exceptional service in Radiology by assisting the patient throughout their examinations.

We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
