Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a vibrant, confident person to join our team as Office Manager for our Sterile Service Unit at Ipswich Hospital
The post involves carrying out general administrative duties in a busy office environment as well as supporting the management in team admin and taking part in audit.
Experience with surgical instruments would be advantageous, however if you do not have knowledge, training will be provided.
If you have established administrative skills, with an interest in surgical instruments and have a desire to help make a difference to our patients, we want to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Your main responsibilities will include the day-to-day administration for the team.
You will work with the management team to finalise rosters, managing and authorising annual leave and preparing staff return to work forms.
You will deal with instrument repairs, cross charging customers for instrument repairs, purchasing new instruments, managing the Trust ordering system within the unit. You will also order daily, weekly and monthly for the unit.
