Qualifications

Meini prawf hanfodol

• HCPC Registration
• Relevant MSc or equivalent qualification
• IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice in Histological
• Dissection and associated experience of specimen dissection in categories A-E
• Hold the IBMS Advanced Specialist Diploma in Dissection
• Evidence of ongoing CPD

Meini prawf dymunol

• Fellowship of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences
• Leadership / management qualification

Experience

Meini prawf hanfodol

• Extensive experience in dissection
• Extensive experience in an NHS histopathology laboratory Training and supervision of staff including junior medical staff
• Experience of participation and preparation for an ISO inspection

• Experience of dealing with user complaints
• Experience in incident investigation/ root cause analysis training
