Job overview

We are looking for a creative, dynamic individual to join  us as a Personal Assistant to support the senior leadership team in our Medicine division at Ipswich Hospital

Our ideal candidate will be highly organised, practical, reliable, efficient and have a flexible approach to the role. You will work well on your own initiative as well as working effectively as part of the wider divisional team.

Duties will include proactive forward planning, fielding emails and telephone calls, complex calendar management. You will be responsible for a portfolio of meetings, including agenda setting, distribution of paperwork, high quality minute taking  and follow up actions.

To succeed in this challenging rewarding role you will thrive under pressure, have the drive and courage to solve problems and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

You will be diplomatic with highly developed communication skills, the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and proven IT skills.

Current ESNEFT employees will be offered on a secondment basis only.

Main duties of the job

To provide an effective, comprehensive personal assistant service to the Associate Director of Operations, Associate Director of Nursing and Divisional Clinical Director (Divisional Management Team)

Deal on a regular basis with confidential and, sensitive information relating to staff and services.

Provide a comprehensive, high quality business support service for the senior management team, including typing/word processing of letters, minutes, reports and other  routine correspondence, using own initiative.

Maintain the corporate diary for the group and be aware of the corporate dairy for ESNEFT including deadlines for submission of papers and reports.
