We are looking for a Therapies Education & Training support officer who is able to work across multiple sites and with a number of different teams and professions.

You will need to enjoy communicating with a variety of people and be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

You will enjoy supporting the Therapy teams to deliver a quality learning experience for both our staff and students.

Main duties of the job

The Therapy Education and Training Support Officer is a key post reporting to the Clinical Director and General Manager for Therapies. In conjunction with education this post will manage and deliver the objectives for Therapies education portfolio in line with the Trust’s strategy, quality, compliance, and business plans. The post holder will provide support on multiple projects under direction from the General Manager for Therapies. The post will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects with demanding timeframes and budget.

The successful candidate will need to be a confident communicator, liaising with internal and external contacts and working across multiple teams.  They will liaise closely with our Higher Education Institutions and private providers to support staff,  students and apprentices across the MSEFT sites.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

  • To provide the link for Therapies at MSEFT to Universities and placement providers
  • To provide support for the Therapies service at MSEFT linking with the Non Medical Education team and ICB
  • To  support staff across the MSEFT organistation with statutory & mandatory training compliance, producing reports as required by the Clinical Director and Heads of Therapies to evidence compliance.
  • To monitor and support staff with HCPC revalidation.
  • To undertake and present projects related to the role as requested by the clinical director for therapies.
