To work as part of the Endoscopy department team assisting in the delivery of high-quality service delivery under the supervision of qualified staff. To support all staff with the day to day running of services undertaken in Endoscopy at Cirencester Hospital. You will need to undertake key roles identified by the manager which will assist in the smooth running of the department. Main duties of the job

To participate in the smooth running of the department on a day to day basis To be responsible for working with colleagues and managers to provide a safe and welcoming environment for staff, patients and relatives. To communicate effectively with all grades of staff. To communicate effectively with patients showing regard for their individual needs and for their right to confidentiality To ensure all patient records are kept up to date, accurate and stored safely.. With appropriate training learn to independently decontaminate endoscopes using the AER’s/use the drying cabinets

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

- Working in Endoscopy at Cirencester Hospital under the supervision of qualified staff.
- To engaged with all service users, patients and other teams with the Hospital setting at both locations.
- To develop your skills to meet the demands and diversity in this dept.
- Endoscopy has a small team and requires staff to be flexible to meet our service delivery
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 18.30. Currently we do not work bank holidays or weekends.
