PART TIME 29.5 HOURS PER WEEK

Applications are invited from experienced Phlebotomists to join our team providing a high quality, compassionate care to our patients. We also welcome applications from people with minimal or no Phlebotomy experience providing they have other required attributes. All applicants if successful, unless they are at a  standard where they can work in all areas needed,  will start on a Band 2 progressing to Band 3 when they are working competently in all areas.

We are looking for individuals with the skill and flexibility to support our services in Outpatients, Trust wards and GP clinics. We currently have hours available at our Andover site. The successful candidate should be willing to participate in the weekend rota and may be asked to cover unexpected leave/staff shortages on our other hospital sites (Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals).

We provide a Phlebotomy service across all our sites caring for patients on our wards those that attend our outpatients services and in several outlying GP Surgeries.  Having a blood test done is often an essential step in a patients diagnosis or treatment and the care we give makes a real difference to this journey.
