Job overview
We are looking for a band 3 MSK Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly therapy family in HHFT.
Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for implementing delegated tasks which form part of the patient's treatment programme, reporting back to the supervising therapist prior to progressing to the next stage in the programme.
- To work with qualified therapists for the benefit of the patient and facilitating the patients progression through the treatment plan, within the protocols/ plans set out by the qualified therapists.
- To be responsible for prioritising and planning of own daily programme of work
- To review caseload on a regular basis and report to Senior Therapist when concerns are found over new or complex fi ndings.
- To use your initiative in responding to unforeseen clinical situations.
- To document interventions accurately and promptly and to keep the overseeing therapists
regularly updated as to the patient's progress.
- To provide cross team cover as required within the limits of competencies.
