Job overview

At HHFT we are always looking at developing new and innovative roles and if you have a passion for teaching and diabetes then this will be the perfect role for you.

You will need to have a sound knowledge base of paediatric diabetes and have the skills to apply your specialist diabetes knowledge to teaching colleagues, parents and children in the management of their care. To be able to do this effectively you will have outstanding communication and teaching skills and be able to engage your audience in what you are teaching.

Alongside the teaching, you will have a good understanding of diabetes technology and be able to support children and young people with their digital devices. You will passionate in supporting young people in developing their independence into adult services and also through transition.
