Job overview

We seek a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our friendly team on a full time basis however, a part-time role will be considered. You'll be making a real difference to your patients every single day - deliver outstanding community care as a valued member of the Community Service.

Main duties of the job

Discharge Home To Assess service runs 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm at weekends. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the weekend working Rota.

The Trust is currently going through a transformation, therefore there may be some changes, this can be discussed in further either at interview or by contacting us beforehand.

The service covers both North and East Hertfordshire and the post holder may be expected at times to cover across localities.

You must hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a car to use regularly for business purposes are essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010) and business car insurance.

Essential criteria
  • Do you have a Physiotherapy Degree?
  • Please detail what experience you have working within the NHS or health care setting?
  • Are you Registered with Health Professions Council?
  • What post qualification course have you completed that are relevant to this role?
Desirable criteria
  • Have you completed Educator Training or have you supported a student?
  • What experience do you have of providing supervision to students and/or colleagues?

Experience & Knowledgge

  • Please detail your experience of working in the community?
  • Please detail when you have been required to use communication skills when working with complex patients?
  • How would you show ability to work under pressure and be flexible?

  • What has been your experience communicating within a multi-discipline team?
