Job overview

We are recruiting for a Anticoagulation Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. 

You will be providing administrative support for our busy clinic, supporting nursing staff other clinicians and the patient caseload.

Main duties of the job

Accurately administer calls and identify and negotiate an agreed appointment with patients

Receive telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner.

Determine patient’s individual requirements in terms of special needs and transport requirements.

Register referrals and associated information on to the relevant information systems

Qualifications/Training

Essential criteria
  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Basic keyboard skills, RSA 1 or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ 2 or above

Previous Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of working within a team
  • Experience of general office administration
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of working within a clinical environment
  • Previous experience of working within an office environment

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good verbal communication skills required to answer queries from members of staff either face to face or on the telephone
  • Ability to work safely under pressure and under own initiative

Knowledge
