Job overview

We are recruiting for a Team Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time team administrator to join our Quality Governance team and support our Patient Safety team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality and safety, with extremely good attention to detail, excellent communication skills and NHS patient safety experience.  Having transitioned to the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework and moving to now develop and embed our new ways of working, this is a great time to join us.

Main duties of the job

 As the Team Administrator-Quality Governance you will provide confidential and comprehensive support to the patient safety team and Head of Safety, Learning & Legal Services in alignment with the ENHT Patient Safety Incident Response Plan and Policy. This will incorporate secretarial, administrative, and clerical support to the team with various quality, patient safety and quality governance groups and meetings. 

To support the Trust wide Quality and Safety agenda by coordinating meetings, maintaining effective systems for oversight of meeting action logs, preparing papers, organising events, and maintaining efficient electronic systems.

Previous Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of building & maintaining effective professional relationships with a range of staff
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft office applications including spreadsheets and email
  • Experience of noting meetings, preparing agendas and action logs
  • Proven ability to work without direct supervision
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Experience of working in NHS (and or healthcare setting)
  • Experience of working in Patient Safety /quality governance
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of using patient information systems and bespoke incident /quality management systems /databases

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree Level or equivalent or with equivalent relevant experience
  • Completed level 1 (essentials of patient safety) and level 2 (access to practice) of the patient safety syllabus.
Desirable criteria
  • Secretarial / Administrative qualifications or equivalent relevant experience
