Job overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. 

You will be working with all members of the Respiratory and sleep team which includes the Lead Nurses & Physiologist, Admin Team, Respiratory physiologists,  Sleep/CPAP staff as well as the respiratory consultants ensuring  smooth running of the department.

This post requires effective communication and a level of confidence in dealing with the public. You will be supported by the staff in the unit with on-the-job training.

Main duties of the job

The Personal Assistant will be the first point of reference for the lead nurse and the sleep and lung function teams.

To be responsible for the provision of an efficient, comprehensive personal assistant and administrative support service to the Lead Nurse for Respiratory & Sleep and effective support to the sleep and lung function teams including co-ordination of outpatient’s appointments, waiting lists and the patient helpline. 

The post holder will be required to work independently using their own initiative and must apply a high degree of confidentiality to all aspects of their work.

  • Knowledge of Local and National target( RTT 18 weeks and 6 weeks for diagnostics)

Qualifications
