The successful post holder will provide a professional and efficient support secretarial service for the Orthopaedics team. This includes supporting clinical staff in different specialties within the business unit, in delivering a high-quality service for patients.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a fast, accurate, comprehensive typing service
  • Undertake compiling of letters using digital system TPRO
  • Act up to the role of PA, across the multiple specialities within the department, during their absence; training will be provided
  • Schedule appointments
  • General office duties

  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Fast Accurate Audio Typing - at least 60 wpm
  • Experience of Secretarial Work
