IWT and PHU are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Organisational Development (OD) Team. We are recruiting for Organisational Development Practitioners in two exciting areas:
- Culture and Team Development
- Health, Wellbeing, and Coaching
This is a unique chance to work across the OD function, delivering impactful initiatives that enhance our organisational culture, foster team cohesion, and promote health and wellbeing across both organisations. There is a requirement to travel between sites, with details to be discussed upon successful appointment.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and embed OD strategies, including Health and Wellbeing, Coaching, Cultural Improvement, and Team Development.
- Collaborate with OD partners, practitioners, and wider stakeholders to ensure programmes align with business objectives and clinical strategies.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate innovative OD programmes, ensuring they meet organisational needs and have measurable impact.
- Support the development of a motivated, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
- Champion an environment that prioritises employee Wellbeing, collaboration, and professional growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in organisational development, coaching, or related fields.
- Creative and innovative thinking, with the ability to design impactful development programmes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
- A results-oriented approach with expertise in evaluating programme outcomes.
- Familiarity with healthcare environments and their unique challenges is advantageous.

The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in-person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.

Qualifications & Skills
Essential criteria
- Level 3 or equivalent trainer/facilitator qualification
- Knowledge of a range of organisational development tools, metrics and processes including facilitation techniques, performance appraisal and development reviews.
Desirable criteria
- Coaching or Mentoring Qualification.
