Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Heart Failure Team Secretary to join our heart failure team at East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust. We are a well-established, integrated heart failure service covering 2 acute hospital sites and a virtual ward.
Main duties of the job
This post holder will be key to supporting the team of Heart Failure Nursing team. and to provide administration and secretary support with day to day running of the service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This post holder will be key to supporting the team of Heart Failure Nursing team. and to provide administration and secretary support with day to day running of the service. This could include speaking with patients and other health care professionals, supporting the virtual wards. Booking and managing outpatient clinics.

Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
