We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Learning Environment Lead to join our professional Education and Development team..

The Learning Environment Lead (Entry Level Programmes) will work strategically with all teams and key stakeholders to ensure engagement in the development of programmes to underpin career pathways for Band 1-4, including but not exclusively limited to, using apprenticeships.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring there are flexible, career developing programmes to meet the needs of staff including bands 1-4 including planning, coordinating and promoting learning events and conferences, i.e. National Learning at Work Week.

The post holder will contribute to curriculum design and review to ensure that patient and service needs are reflected in vocational and technical education provision and provide written reports and action plans to promote and explain key widening participation agendas and report on progress and achievements to include achievement of apprenticeship targets.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Specialist related degree and evidence of relevant post graduate development at Level 6 or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • Coaching or training qualification

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of managing complex formal and informal processes
  • Experience of managing projects and undertaking evaluation
  • Intermediate experience of a financial system
Desirable criteria
  • Understanding of NHS Community Services
